A yearbook with a page that each of the kids in the class made.
This is Sammi's page! I guess she wants to be a librarian when she grows up, although later on she asked me what a librarian does! ha! And she was definitely not the only girl in the class that said they like to play princess!
There was also a book with a piece of artwork that Sammi did from each month. This one shows her with her building that she built! The drawing is her "blueprint". And she said the building is a restaurant with a garden on top of the roof! How creative!
Her teacher also gave me some pictures they took of Sammi. This one is when the kids pretended to be Mimes! Sammi was really excited when they did that!
And finally, here she is at home with her Special Person Award. You can see in the background what our dining room is looking like these days!
Anyways, Sammi loved her time at preschool this year! I've mentioned before that next year she will be going to the Ferguson Center instead of McKnight since it is much closer to our new house. It is still St. Paul's preschool though and I think some of the teachers are the same. And I'm very happy that she is not going to kindergarten yet! I'm not ready for that!!

Those are some really cute books that they made for the kids! It sounds like Sammi has some good teachers. Can I make reservations to come to the rooftop garden restaurant? ; )
awww, how sweet! she has very thoughtful teachers. i want to come to the rooftop garden restaurant! actually she is ahead of the times with all the "green" roofs they are planning downtown! i love the picture of her with her building, she looks so proud!
i know! I have no idea where she came up with that idea for the building, but it's a good one! And her teacher thought that picture of her was so funny. She is such a character!
awww, that's such a nice keepsake! and i love the restaurant idea too! that is too funny about the librarian. :) i wouldn't be surprised, though, if she turns out to be one, with the great interest she has in reading! looks like the packing is going well. only a few more days, huh? i hope all goes well, and i can't wait to see your new place next time we're in town!
p.s. was great seeing you at mad mex, even though it was just a few minutes with how long i had to be out in the car with Julia! thanks for making the trip with the girls, even though you had a sick Sammi at home. we missed her! hope everyone is feeling healthy now.
