Ok, so this happened a whole month ago!! Yes, I’m a little behind in blogging. The problem is, it’s fall, I have a baby and I’ve been bitten…….by the craft bug!! It seems to happen every fall, but it’s even worse when you have a baby to make cute things for AND your very best friend is very pregnant and you want to make very cute things for her little girl too! So, I will have to do a whole post just on the fun things I made over the past month. But first, a quick post about Corinne’s baptism. She was baptized on Sept. 11th. The service was beautiful and I am so thankful that my own personal photographer, Kat, took these beautiful pictures for me! Ok, so she is just a really great friend, but she COULD be my own personal photographer and I’m so grateful that she likes to use her talents on my girls.
So, Corinne of course had to have a blow out RIGHT before the baptism!! I had fed her before the service and waited till the last possible moment to get her dressed and right when the sermon started, she had a big (and loud!) blow out!! So I had just enough time to go change her diaper and thankfully it only got on her diaper cover and not her dress! Whew!
The dress she wore was my Mom’s when she was a baby! It was so special that she could wear it for her baptism.
And so after her blowout, she fell asleep in my arms. And she slept through the whole thing!! Even when they put water on her head, she didn’t wake up! What a sweet little baby.
We had a big party at our house after with lots of friends and family and neighbors. It was great!!
And here are a few of my other favorite pictures…..![]()
Hee hee….LOVE Matthew’s “Photo bomb”!
The lady on the right is Ms. Lou, who Corinne is named for and who is my Godmother! It was so special that she could share this day with us! ![]()
