First, Corinny……
This week she started crawling!
She has been so close for week and so frustrated, so this pleased her very much.
She also LOVES to stand and can stand while holding on to something for pretty long. The other day, she actually pushed her walker! Maddie loves to be her number one cheerleader.
She also loves to eat! I try to give her some sort of solid food at least once a day. Often it is just something from what we are having for dinner. She does pretty well with table food and she has had various things from bread and peas to even a little bit of chicken pot pie! She also loves the purees, especially yogurt and prunes. And she can sort of feed herself baby yogurt melts and puffies. She would probably eat a lot more table and baby food if I had the time to give it to her!
Sammi and Maddie also took the free ice skating lessons at North Park. This week will be their last lesson. They both love the lessons and did great. It was so awesome to see Maddie, the same girl who just stood against the wall the whole time at dance camp, just jump onto the ice with no hesitation and join her class. We are so proud of her! And of course Sammi loves it too and it was fun to watch them skate together for free skate after the lesson.
Corinne had her first experience in the snow about a week ago when it snowed just a little. She seemed to react the same way she reacts to anything new we do to her which is she just goes with the flow. She didn’t cry or get upset, but she wasn’t smiling or laughing either! Just kind of like, "whatever”. ha ha.
Oh and Abby now loves the snow too!! She HATED it last year and wouldn’t even go near it. But, this year she got excited about it and had been waiting to make snow angels for weeks and weeks. She was SO thrilled when she got to make one! Silly girl!
Today we had 4-5 inches of snow. The girls played “star wars” together all morning (no, it’s not always barbies and princesses here! although, Princess Leia was involved) and then Brandon took them out in the snow for about an hour. I just took Corinne out for a tiny bit mostly to get a picture. It’s not quite the same without Ashley out there chasing snow balls, but still lots of fun! Such a great Saturday!!

wow, i can't believe how mobile Corinny is!!! that's great! she needs to teach Alena, hehee. :) i hear you on not having time to feed her... that's why i didn't really mind Alena protesting food at that age, because it would've just been a ton more work! but now it's easier for some reason, maybe because Ju Ju doesn't need as much help.
anyway, those pics of the girls ice skating are sooo cute. i love them! i'm impressed that they can skate at all, that's hard!
Corinny makes a super cute snow bunny! that's awesome that she didn't mind the snow! we haven't had enough here to try it out with Alena yet... hopefully before the winter is over! that's awesome that Abby loved the snow this year! hilarious that she just went all out and made a snow angel!!! haha
you have gotten some really good pics of the four girls this year! that's great! love that snowy one. :)
oh and the video of Corinne crawling is great. she really gets some height on her crawls! she'll probably be walking before you know it!!!
